Where to apply

Eligible ordinary claims start in My.SSS. Use an SSS branch for the exceptional cases listed on the official benefit page.

What to bring

  • My.SSS account and payment account

Use your existing SS number; enroll a disbursement account through DAEM when filing directly.

  • Identity, civil-status and separation records

Branch claims need a retirement application, accepted ID and payment-account proof. Age 60–64 employed claimants may need separation evidence; dependents and special cases need supporting civil records.

  • Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM)

DAEM is the account-enrollment section in My.SSS. Use an active account in your own name, submit the requested account proof / identity evidence and wait for approval before filing a direct-payment claim.

How to apply

  1. 1
    Check pension or lump-sum eligibility

120 paid months before the retirement semester qualify for the monthly pension. Fewer months may lead to lump sum or continued voluntary contributions.

  2. 2
    Set up the receiving account

Use UMID-ATM or an approved DAEM account before filing.

  3. 3
    Submit the retirement claim

Use My.SSS for eligible ordinary claims. Guardianship, portability, bilateral agreements, adjustments and other listed exceptions require a branch.

  4. 4
    Track the claim and payment

Keep the transaction number; read email notices and the My.SSS claim status. Correct rejected documents before resubmitting.
