Police clearance

Use the PNP National Police Clearance System (NPCS). This is different from NBI clearance and a local police certificate.

Cost / amount:

• National Police Clearance: ₱150 plus the chosen payment channel’s charge
• Eligible first-time jobseekers: one free clearance with the required barangay certification

Processing time:

• After complete requirements and no record hit, the charter lists a short station transaction; allow extra time for queues
• A record hit needs verification; follow the release / return instruction given by the station

How to start:

• Register and book at pnpclearance.ph; appear at the selected station for a first application

What to bring

• NPCS account, appointment and payment reference
• One valid original government-issued ID

  The current PNP application guide asks for one valid government-issued ID, payment proof and the appointment reference. Use an ID accepted by NPCS with matching personal details.

• Barangay certification for a first-time jobseeker, if claiming the exemption

  Bring the certification and other evidence specified for the First Time Jobseekers Assistance Act route. Select the exemption before paying.

How to apply

   Create / recover the NPCS account and book

   Check your identity details, select a participating station and choose an available appointment.

   Open the official service

   Pay or claim the valid first-jobseeker exemption

   Use the generated payment reference and retain the receipt. Do not pay again if confirmation is pending.

   Attend identity capture and collect / follow up

   Bring IDs and the appointment reference for photograph, fingerprints and verification. Check the released name; follow the station’s return date if there is a hit.
