NBI Clearance · First-time jobseeker

Use NBI’s first-time-jobseeker facility. Clearance is free for qualifying applicants with the required barangay certification and IDs.

Steps

  1. Check first-time-jobseeker eligibility

Use NBI’s statutory first-time-jobseeker route, not a paid standard booking.

  2. Obtain the barangay certification and IDs

Obtain the original barangay certification confirming eligibility/six months’ residence and the Oath of Undertaking; bring the National ID or two accepted IDs.

  3. Register / book through the FTJS facility

Follow the first-time-jobseeker instructions linked from the official portal.

  4. Attend for identity checks and biometrics

Use the FTJS lane and present the required documents; qualifying clearance is free.

  5. Receive clearance or follow the review date

A hit requires NBI’s further verification and assigned return date.
