NBI Clearance · Applying from abroad

Use the NBI overseas instructions for fingerprints, Form No. 5, identification, representation and the applicable mailing/payment route. Domestic branch instructions are not a complete overseas checklist.

Steps

  1. Choose the official overseas application route

Consult the NBI Mailed Clearance Section instructions and your Philippine embassy/consulate.

  2. Obtain Form No. 5 and required fingerprint evidence

Follow the official certification and applicant document rules.

  3. Confirm the payment, courier and representative conditions

Overseas routes have different fees and supporting documents; use the assessed route.

  4. Send or submit through the official channel

Keep the courier/reference and any required authorization evidence.

  5. Track issuance and verify the received clearance

Delivery and additional record review are separate from processing time.
